“When looking for a designer to help me with the refurb of The King & Co, it was important to me to find someone with whom I got on well, who was receptive to my ideas but who was also not afraid to tell me when they thought I was wrong. These are all qualities that I found in Sophie. Not only did she have an abundance of ideas but nothing was too much for her to do throughout the whole process, even when pretty heavily pregnant! Being my first business, I was naturally very keen to put my own touch on the place but Sophie managed to carefully guide me through the pitfalls of interior design to help deliver a pub that not only feels contemporary & clean but also worn & lived in. Nobody wants to sit in a shiny, brand new pub do they?!
